Ingredients

  • Goose breast: 1 breast, finely chopped or processed
  • Vegetables: Includes green onions, carrots, cabbage, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and fresh ginger
  • Marinade for goose: Rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, fresh ginger, garlic, cilantro
  • Egg roll wraps: 1 package
  • Other: Chicken broth or water for cooking the vegetables

 

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Goose: Combine the marinade ingredients and let the goose breast marinate for at least one hour.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Finely chop the marinated goose breast. Cook the meat until medium-rare.
  3. Cook the Vegetables: Sauté the vegetables with chicken broth until softened, then mix with the cooked goose meat.
  4. Assemble the Egg Rolls: Place a portion of the filling on each egg roll wrap, fold, and seal them.
  5. Fry the Egg Rolls: Deep-fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy.

 

Serving Suggestions

Serve the egg rolls with jasmine rice and a variety of dipping sauces like sweet chili, sweet hot mustard, or sweet and sour sauce.
