Ultimate Stacked Cheeseburger Tower

Ingredients:
For the burger patties:
2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
For the toppings:
1 large onion, sliced into rings
1 large tomato, sliced
1 large pickle, sliced
Lettuce leaves (for layering)
4 hamburger buns (preferably toasted)
Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
Shape the ground beef into 8 equal-sized burger patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Grill or cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt.
While the patties cook, prepare the toppings: lightly toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster, slice the tomato, onion, and pickles, and wash the lettuce leaves.
To assemble the burger tower, start by placing one toasted bun on the bottom.
Layer with lettuce, a cheese-covered burger patty, tomato slices, and onions. Repeat with additional patties, adding more toppings between layers.
Finish the tower with the top bun and secure the entire stack with toothpicks or skewers if needed for stability.
Serve immediately with your favorite condiments on the side or drizzled on top.
Notes:
You can stack more patties and toppings to make the tower even taller if you like!
Feel free to swap out the beef for chicken, turkey, or a plant-based patty for a different version.
Prep Time: 10 mins | Cooking Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Kcal: ~600 (per serving, depending on toppings) | Servings: 4
